Trends

trend: n. the general course or prevailing tendency; style

I think I might've started one.... kinda. First, I convinced Kyle and Joyce to, at least, bleach their hair. Last year, if you didn't know, I bleached and dyed half of my hair red. I did it again this year but it's pretty much faded now. This girl in my class named Leticia told me last week that she wanted to try it 'cause it looked cool. Last night, I received a picture from Joelle..

By the way, try this simple shrimp recipe. I cooked some today and they were amaaaazinggg!! xD

Sleepless In California

Ash Wednesday: n. the practice of placing ashes on the foreheads of the faithful as a sign of repentance

Photobucket

Last night I went to bed around 1:30a.m. A crap load of things were running through my head so for about 3-4 hours of that night, I was tossing and turning! I tried coming up with different ways to put myself to sleep. I did my best to stop thinking, which didn't work at all. I tried listening to soft music in my iPod and used the bathroom hoping that that was the solution. I told myself I could've been watching two movies. Thennnn... I started counting sheep.

NOTHING WORKED!! D=

I just came back from The Pajama Game practice an hour ago and took the picture you see above. As you can see, there is no ash on my forehead. =/
I also don't know what to give up.
...Help?

Irresistible.

food: n. any nourishing substance that is eaten, drunk, or otherwise taken into the body to sustain life, provide energy, promote growth, etc.

I seriously need to stop spending my money on food. Since it's Ash Wednesday, Joyce and I decided to eat pho.. I ordered seafood for my first time. I can't say I enjoyed it as much as the chicken noodle (pho) or the bbq pork vermicelli but it sure filled me up. Before we went out to get pho, I took out some change from my card by buying something cheap.... Chester's Fries.

Thoughts Lingering Through My Brain

prodigious: adj. extraordinary in size, amount, extent, degree, force, etc.

I must be a mere object spending more than a sheer effort of my time for something I believe is great.
Now, I'm wondering if it's worth it.

I'm trying to sound knowledgeable and I hope it's working. x]

Ergghhh.. 4 more not-so-torturous months of school.
Boy, does time fly!
Next thing you know, I'm 21. =/

I haven't the slightest idea of what to do anymore in this situation.
I'm caught in a love triangle.

No More.

assume: v. to take for granted or without proof; suppose

Photobucket
These past few years I've been having some issues. I tend to assume and over-analyze more than usual.
I've held myself back from so many opportunities. Sometimes I make the most tiniest things into a big deal.
Well, I say, "No more!".

On another note, Earvin just told me that he's been influenced by the style of my music! How awesome is that??
I don't even know what kind of style I have!

The Pajama Game!

The Pajama Game: n. A broadway musical, which was also made into a movie. Find it at Hollywood Videos.

Yesterday was the call-back audition for the lead characters, ensemble dancers and ensemble actors/actresses. I was called back for two leading characters, Gladys and Mabel, and ensemble actresses. I was prepared to sing Gladys and Mabel's songs but I was no where near ready for the scene auditions. I had to act out Gladys, Mabel, Poopsie, Brenda, and Mae.
That was more than a handful of characters! D:

It's been about 3-4 years since I've done this whole auditioning-for-a-musical sort of thing... and you can bet I was nervous! I was freeeeeezing my ass off too! My toes went numb while I was in the auditorium.
So... During the auditions, I felt sooo intimidated! Almost everyone there had some sort of experience auditioning these past 3-4 years, which made me feel out of place. By the end of the day, I felt like I could've done way better than what I did on stage. It's so difficult to stay in character since it's been a while.
I didn't want to keep my hopes up but, today, before I was able to see the results, people were congratulating me!

..turns out I got Mabel's part and that was exactly the part I wanted! =DD
Now it's up to me to play the part and stay in character.

Oh... and one more thing..
Beer Pong Saturday night is going doooowwwwnnn!!
Open house.
